Personally - I still can't believe it :)

So what are the Public Health England (PHE) final conclusions?

Are e-cigs safe?

E-cigarettes are significantly less harmful (95%) to health than smoking tobacco

Are they a route into smoking cigarettes?

There is no evidence so far that e-cigarettes are acting as a route into smoking for children or non-smokers

Do they harm others?

There is no evidence so far of harm to bystanders from second-hand vapour from e-cigarettes

Can they help people quit?

The best thing a smoker can do is stop smoking completely and forever. The evidence shows that e-cigarettes can be effective in helping people to quit and greatly reduce harm to health.

Should stop smoking services welcome them?

We're calling on all stop smoking services to welcome and support e-cigarettes users who want to quit smoking.

Ever since this has been announced the social media users went crazy; evey vaper proudly shared the news with cocky message: We've known that all along. I must admit, that the announcement did come with a bit of a surprise; not that we are moaning of course! But within 24 hours of the notice going viral, the California (welcome back, senator Mark Leno) law makers have agreed to prohibition. And, after catching up with vaping news today, turns out that Malysian doctors, politicians and religious leaders are all fighting for column inches to explain the intrinsic evils associated with vaping. We can now only hope that other health organizations will follow this example, and neither the electronic cigarette industry, nor vapers themselves will not have to worry about possible restrictions anymore.
